Deacon Luis M. Gil

Deacon Luis M. Gil was ordained on May 31, 2003.  He is married to Juana (Jackie) since 1985, and they have three daughters, Betsy, Angie, and Tracey, and two grandchildren, Leandro and Janelle.

Education: Phillips Business School and Passaic County College, Accounting.  Occupation: Accountant for five Parishes and two Cemeteries:  St. Mary, St. Nicholas, and Our Lady of Fatima Parishes – Passaic; St. Therese and Our Lady of Victories Parishes – Paterson; St. Mary and St. Nicholas Cemeteries.

Parish ministries and responsibilities In St. John’s Cathedral I am involved in baptism preparation classes, baptisms, funerals, preaching, and Adoration or Benediction.
