The Respect Life Ministry of the Diocese of Paterson focuses on life and social injustice issues using Catholic Social Teaching as a guide. It promotes respect for the dignity of each person, from conception through natural death, by focusing on ethical issues, including: abortion, adoption, bioethics, elimination of human trafficking and exploitation of minors, euthanasia/responsible pain management until natural death, incarceration reform, racial justice and equity, and the treatment of undocumented migrants.
