Consultative Bodies

Several structures are defined in Canon Law to assist the Bishop in his role of promoting the spirit of communion in the Diocese:

• Diocesan Pastoral Council (DPC)
• The College of Consultors
• The College of Deans
• The Presbyteral Council
• The Diocesan Finance Council

Other consultative councils and commissions are established to assist the Bishop with the ministry of collaboration, these include:

• Catechetical Commission
• Commission for Hispanic Catholic Ministry
• Diocesan Educational Council 
• Diocesan Liturgical Commission
• Diocesan Review Board
• Theological Commission
